working on xmas eve...

... is hugely depressing and entirely pointless, as no one does any work... but im here anyway til 5pm.. anyone else working today?

I worked till about 2ish, but the big boss had come out and tell us to go home in the end, we were waiting for the last driver to get back to help him unload, but he was far to far away.
It wasn't totaly pointless though, its all work I don't have to do when I go back on the 5th.

I not only have the joy of fighting my way through the crowds to get home tonight, but also look forward to coming back to work on Friday the 2nd of January... cos giving everyone that extra day would have killed him...

i'm here, they made me come in an hour early but I get off 3 hours early, and I have Friday off so that’s cool

I'm working till 2:30 today then I have to come back Friday.

Working till 4, then I have to come back the 26th...crappy!

I was working XMas Eve :( But I gave myself a 45min early mark and got home in 19 minutes (a course record ;)) :D

I worked until 8, I don't see why working on Christmas eve is a bad thing...don't you do all your celebrating on the 25th???

i worked till 12 pm on the 24th. then work i am working now on the 26th...it sucks. they shouldve made it a 4-5 day weekend.

I had to work Xmas eve... 10pm until 6:30am Thursday morning. Lucky me is "Da Nite Guy". I gotta work New Years Eve overnight and I hafta cover New Year's Day. :banghead:

i was working christmas eve. I worked the 26th, and am about to head into work today (27th). (i'm a route sales person for a food company, I deliver stuff to grocery stores)
