I am considering buying a 02wrx wagon.Ive driven quite a few of them and have a question you wrx owners. The car has a pulsating sensation between 3000rpm and 6000rpm as the boost slowly builds. Its almost like an intermittant miss but its not a miss. The tire balance and suspension is fine this is almost like a slight rocking sensation. If you accelerate ball to the wall (WOT) probably woulndt do it. Ive seen posts about this with other people particularly the 04's. Can someone expain this.Is is some thing to worry about???The problem is intermitant. The turbo is strong and driveability of the car seems fine but crap like this isnt something a suubie tech is going to catch. Itll fall into weve never heard of that before or we cant duplicate it. Help before I make a mistake, or tell me I have nothing to worry about.

I've noticed this same "problem" in my WRX as well. I'm not sure what causes it, if it's good or bad, etc. I am curious though.

After checking out a few dyno graphs of the stock WRX, there's a lull in power around 4500rpm WOT. I suspect that this is the stutter.
