What Engine?

Hey you guys. I'm new to the domestics and was looking at this 1994 Mustang. I was wondering how much i could get out of this car without having to tube the chassis or destroy the engine bay. I am willing to do engine mounts and wiring ,but that is about it. Please and thanks for clean posts. :evillol:

Well, it says 5.0 but, the engine is shot. So I was just wondering whether I should put a bigger engine or a new 5.0 in. I'll have the engine out any ways. Hope thet helps. :evillol:

If you want to make tons of power N/A go build a nice 408 stroker. A 408 with some good ported heads and a big solid roller with a high-stall auto and slicks should be able to go 130 in the 1/4 on motor and is only a small shot of juice away from 9's. If you want to go FI go get a good block like an A4, R302, or dart, build a stout motor and boost away.

Yes they did, the V6 cars were reffered to as an LX.

Ok, maybe what I should have said was they did not make a 5.0 LX I was not talking about a V6

Speed Racer is not coming back so I will continue this for him and anyone else who needs it. I was looking at an LX also but, mine is a 1993. Will these engines work in it also. And if so which one would you suggest to get the most power out of when I mod it out all the way? :sunglasse
