:screwy: yeah, I know this seems a bit weird so I'll try to smooth it out as best as possible.
I've been having problems with the '92 525i. It doesn't seem like fuel is being delivered to the the engine. Upon closer inspection, we concluded that it was a problem with the fuel pump so of course, we went and found a new one but to no avail. The engine still didn't start. After going back and forth troubleshooting everything else concerning electrical/fuel systems, we came back to the pump. :sly:
Well we overheard that there is a sensor/switch that "runs down the center of the rear seat that resets the fuel pump" so that it will start working again. I don't know if this makes any sense to me but I've never heard of such a thing.
Any help would be great.

have had similar problems with my e34 all week...today have bought new oil filter, oil, sprakplugs and dizzy cap... (diz cap was ruined maybe that?) but have you tried your fuel filter at all.. could be that that is screwed? just full of the crap sucked up from the bottom of the fuel tank?
good luck
