I'm not sure if any1 has already answered a question like this.

My b/f has a 95 eclipse...its leaking oil and its going to his exhaust causing smoke. Does any1 know where it mite be coming from?

Could be burnt valve(s) also, which would require a head rebuild. A couple of my exhaust valves went out on my 91 and it smoked like crazy.

Doing compression and leak-down tests will pinpoint where the oil is leaking from. Instructions on doing those tests can be found at http://www.vfaq.com/index-main.html They're pretty simple, really. Told me immediately that I had valve problems.

Hope this helps.

tell him to take it some where b/c it MIGHT be something else you never know it wont cost to much now if he gets it fixed i personally would not drive it to much but thats just me i wouldent like smoking out the street
