dash parts

I'm planning on experimenting with painting my dash and vents and stuff, I don't really like the look of most dash kits. I have no idea how the paint project will turn out, so I don't really want to risk screwing up my dash. I'm looking for the pieces I need in a junkyard. Does anyone know if any other years (I'd assume 95, but I'm not sure) would have the same dash pieces as my 96 auto gxe? Also, does anyone know of any junkyards around Pittsburgh/western PA/eastern OH? I've been looking in the phone books but I can't find any. Thanks guys.

hey dude.....every dash piece between 95-99 should be the same EXCEPT: climate control,, auto or manual plus different years have different models...and the shifter piece....auto is different than manual....
if you want to take a drive up to newark, nj there is about 7 junkyards in a 1 mile range and i saw at least 5 maximas last time i was there.....
if you need directions e-mail me.

On the climate control thing, I've heard it would be more trouble that it's worth to try to convert to automatic from manual (what I have). Anyone know anything more on that? also, on the manuals, would swapping in a different year's model be a problem? I'd imagine the connections couldn't be all that different, from my Hayne's manual the wiring looks identical.

Thanks for the advice Sam, that's a bit far of a drive though. I'll keep it in mind if I can't find anything closer.
