being teh smart teen that i am i decided to go out and take off the distributor and then i just have to say thati shocked the s*&t out of myself. but i think i figured out why the car is stumbling cuz i must have yanked on the wired that goes from the ditributor to the coil a little enough for it to make a not so good connection. i pushe it donw in ther a good ways and then i drove the car and i noticed a great power increase. i am still gonna replace teh wires tommmroorw though and when i looked at the rotor and the cap i noticed alot of crap on the mettal things in the cap and on the rotor. both looked sorta worn down. i still need help on how to replace the cap and rotor though. thanks for the help and i jsut learned somthing new. never touch the distributor if it i shocking and the car is running.

Watch out for those little square things on the wall in your house too.
What di you think was going to happen if you try to open the distributer while the car was running.
BTW keep your hands away from the fan too.
