Got home too late to take pictures today... no sun. So I'll get em up tomorrow hopefully. It's a nice pewter color with black mirrors. Powder coat C4 Vette rims :)... 17's running on 275 Falkens. Grey leather interior, and it sports a brand new Pioneer in dash DVD system (only a 2600 dollar add-on ;)). Only 57,000 miles to boot.


I got the whole thing for $16,500 before taxes, and a 7.9% interest rate.

The black mirrors actually look sick on the pewter body and black accents. Looks unique. I dunno, got the car like that. I like it.

I want to get a black stripe painted down the middle.. but that's for later.

lol, naw man, that black stripe would look sweet on the car, its almost like an old hurst olds color scheme. i just tell everyone to have black camaros, cuz i like em, and im very hard headed and opinionated.

Just a v6 auto... but the drop top was nice for a while. Until it started making all sorts of noises.

Black is too hard to take care of in my area anyways. Too much dust cuz I'm right next to a field and stuff.

lol, your both such sweet hearts :) but im gonna be just as bad. edelbrock TES headers, flowthrough cat, and flowmaster american thunder exhaust system. all 3" with dual chrome 2 1/4 in tips. its the 80 seriese mufflers, flowmasters loudest :)

On a 'maro and cars that have a back seat loud exhuast is ok cuz you dont get the full effect like you do when you got a vette and the flowmasters are right behind you...Hell I could never use my radio

I don't know about all this flowmaster and cat back stuff. I tend to like the sound of my hooker long tubes and duel 2 1/2 stainless steel with no muffelers or cats. All the guys at work say it sounds like the four horsemen of the apocholipse My neighbors hate me! lol

I"m a little late on this but....80 series isn't flowmasters loudest. 40s are. I've had both, and a pair of 40's blow an 80 away. oh..a pair of 40's..well who the hell just wants one??? And I'm pretty close to sitting on mine, so it's loud. But let me tell you...it's so sweet....:D

I had 40's in my vette. I would drive home from work and all I could hear is a low pitch humm for the rest of the day. It was a great sound though. Real throaty and really kickass. Miss that thing.. just not the work she took to keep going.

???? according to flowmaster the 80s are the loudest, thats what i went on, i havent listend to them side by side so ill claim the 5th on this one.

ahh I see said the wise ass to his dumb wife. Your right, and I was kinda right too. The web site sais that the 40's have the most aggressive note, but on there chart the 80 has it by a pube. In any event, they are both loud as hell and kick ass. But the 40's have a meaner tone I think than the 80. hmmm we'll never know..or will we???

oh and another good point, just cuz its louder dont mean it sounds better, ill have to go check out the sound files at flowmaster and compair the two.

Ya know, I do love the new SS's, but it's to easy. You come stock with the most bad ass mother right out of the assymbly line. I had to work for mine, I think I appreciate mine a bit more.. Now if I can just learn how to spell I'll be doing allright.

Hey, on the black stripe you talked about. Just have a black piece of vynle slapped on. If you use a real high quality piece it will look great and for a long time too. Plus, it would be about 10% of the cost of a painted one. Plus, if you later do not like it or want to get rid of it, just peel it off.

Personally, I think a contrasting stripe like a bright silver or a darker charcole stripe would look better than a black one but that's just me.
