95 Aurora left parking lights don't work

When you have your lights turned on, the headlights, the parking lights are suppose to be on low, and both tail lights are suppose to be on. I just noticed today that my left tail light and left parking lights don't come on when the lights are on. I have been noticing a lot of issues since I had Best Buy install my remote starter. I noticed it when I disarmed the alarm today. Only my right tail light blinked telling me it was disarmed. But when pressing the brake, both tail lights come on. So it isn't a burnt out bulb. Anyway none of the lights come on on the driver side of the car (other than the headlight and the fog light). Does anyone know where to start to look for this problem? I think it is something to do with the remote starter seeing the light doesn't blink when you arm or disarm the alarm. I have been noticing a lot of issues since Best Buy installed it. And I can't take it back to Best Buy because they already told me they won't help me. (I will never have Best Buy install anything again.) I think that all of the parking lights are on the same circuit so it doesn't make sense why only the passenger side lights work. The blinkers would have two different circuits. But it seems the parking lights would only have one. Where would any of you out their start to look to troubleshoot this?

I too can't think of what they could have done wrong. Some of the electricals are kinda tricky on this car but the lights are pretty simple. I would check to see where they got the light flash at. It is either + brown/white wire low drivers kick or - gray/black wire at light switch. The + wire is in the harness to the rear of the car. The brown/white wire has a very faint white stripe. Also found brown(+) left of brake pedal at the light module on some models.

If they installed a DEI unit, it will be a white wire from the remote start brain. I know if they hooked up the light flash to the (-) circuit and they did not change prgramming, it can cause a lot of problems. See, there is a little jumper you have to change on the side of the starter's brain to send out a - or + signal. It is very common for someone to hook into a - switch wire and forgetting to change the jumper to -.

Well, I just took it to the dealer today and had them fix it. It ended up being a loose wire under the fuse panel. I know Best Buy was monkeying around under the seat trying to figure out my defrosters. They probably knocked it loose. Which that cost me $200 for the dealer to fix it. But I don't think I can prove it was Best Buy. Just seems like a pretty big quincidence.

yep, I know what you mean. I'm in the bizz too. I know that if I put a radio in your car and your tires go flat, it's my fault :eek7: I usually go ahead and try to fix people's problems so they do not feel like you do. Reason, I am a small shop and I would rather you tell 2 people you loved me than you telling 12 people I suck!!!! Besides, usually electrical items are easy to fix. Glad to hear you got it fixed though :icon16:
