98 Prelude, Base. The last couple of mornings my car has been parked outside in around 20-30 degree weather, usually it's parked in the garage.
I go out to start it and it starts & dies 2 to 3 times, before it really starts running.Hasn't done this in the garage ,it's around 60 degrees in there. The rest of the day it starts fine.Checked the Dist. cap & Rotor Button. Was a little build-up, so I cleaned/sanded off. Bought a fuel filter, haven't installed it yet.Don't miss or anything either.Has 60,000 miles on it now.Have had to have the belts & tenser chg. about 15,000 ago. Thanks alot,

Have you winterized your car yet. Make sure you check everything. A/F, fluids, gas treatment, battery/charging,etc. My prelude had the same problem when it started to freeze outside. I did some routine maintenence and have had no problems.

could be a thermostat problem
if it's broken u might run too rich and choke the engine before u really warm it up
