Argh! Yellow paint- dust control tips???

Hey guys-

Building a Revell Dale Earnhardt "Wild Side" kit for my girlfriend's Dad as a Christmas gift.

This is my first time painting with yellow, and it's driving me craaaaazy!

No matter what, I am getting tiny "wiry" dark dust in the paint. I've tried everything to store it after spraying- microwave, tupperware, etc. and it still happens.

It's very frustrating because the yellow is so transparent- and the dust is still visible if I can't remove it. I've read the FAQ to no avail- any tips on controlling dust?

Hmm.. can't quite make out any dust on your picture. While you're painting, do you notice the dust or is it only when you're storing it to dry?

Sorry about the pic- I guess I just wanted to give you guys an idea what I was working on...A full progress report will follow as I've documented the entire process.

It seems the dust seems to be arising from where I am storing the freshly painted body. I tried taping the cover shut of the plastic container I am using, and it worked! I think dust was entering there as it dried.

I wish I could use the microwave...but I don't want to load it up with fumes as I don't think they'll go away after time!

get a large tupperward (sandwich) box. turn it upside down so the lid becomes the bottom. glue a cassett tape box to the lid as a stand. rest the car shell on the tape box holding it in place with some blue tac. paint the shell then put rest of the box on top, sealing the body way from dust (hopefully)
