Z28 vs. 99+ GT

I figured that things are going extremely slow here, so i might as well post a street kill from my past. During the time of this race I had only a few mods (K&N, muffler, HPP3 program). On to the story:
I'm driving on the 210 freeway headed eastbound towards Pasadena. I see a black 99+ Mustang GT conv't. pull up alongside of me. He then begins to accelerate and decelerate, pretty much pacing my car. I was bored so i figured, what the heck. I put the car in 3rd and leave him. Unfortuantely yet another idiot is on the road ahead of me, whom goes into my lane while i'm driving at about 100 mph (You know the typical person whom drives slower then you, and likes to get it in your way for no apparent reason). I slam on the brakes, and the mustang passes over to the far right hand lane. He then puts on his emergency lights.WTF!!!! He's declaring a win. That doesn't slide with me, so i follow him off the Colorado exit. I pull up alongside of him, and see two latin guys with shaved heads laughing their asses off. They asked me if my car was a V6, then told me that their car smokes SS's. I was like "sure, let's go at the light. When it turns green i'm going". I hear some excuses "It's my buddies car, it's an automatic, etc..." Light turns green and we both are peeling out (I guess he was planning on taking another cheesy win). In first we are both tied, by second I see his car losing ground, and 3rd comes and i'm a couple car lengths ahead. The passenger was laughing hilariously, but the driver looked pissed. The driver told me he had his own mustang that was a stick shift. I told him his car was OK for what it is :) I then peeled out and drove away.

I have a mustang and I love mustangs and everything but I wouldn't have even raced the guy theres no way he could beat you even with a stick. On top of that its a vert. I don't know what the guy was thinking but he's an idiot to race you.
