radio woe's

Hi there, I brought my vehicle (97 grand caravan 3.3L) into the dealer to get the o2 sensor replaced and the recalls for the clockspring in the airbag. They did, as well as the fuel rails..

prior to this the radio worked great, but after picking it up, it worked for about 1/2 hr then cut out. leaving a - displaying in the radio display.. when i turn the radio on, a loud click is heard through the speakers, but no radio.. then i let it sit for a while and like magic i had radio again... when the key is going from off to start you get the loud click or crack in the radio and when it does that no radio.. it doesnt do this all the time... or at least it didnt.. Today it died on my without being able to get it back...

Phoned the dealer, and he stated to bring it in we will look at it for you... yeah ill bet at 75.00 / hr.. I have a feeling it is grounding out or something in that range... any one out there got any idea's ?? I havent a clue on how to actually remove the stereo...
