98 Transport ABS lite

We have a 98 transport ,My wife was driving thru a puddle now when braking the ORANGE ABS lite comes on as well as the left /right indicator on the dash lites up.
Any Ideas this thing has about 55,000 miles on it (80,000kms)

There is a pass through connector under the left side of the truck near the sliding door....they are know to get water in them causing all kinds of strange complaints.

Hi,
The ABS lite can be a pain in the butt. I had this same thing happen to me after going through a big rainstorm. From the advice of a mechanic friend, I solved my problem by disconnecting the ABS sensor from each wheel, cleaning the connections with spray electro-contact cleaner and then squeezing some di-electric grease in the connector ends. Since I've done this to all four wheel connections my ABS lite hasn't come back on since.
