I got an 89 240 with the sohc a friend who works at a junk yard can get me a dohc engine what will i need to make this swap and is it even woth the time and money I accept and help or info on this

rebuild the KA24DE that you get from the junk yard...make it NA or turbo...doesn't matter. It is best to get a 1991 engine due to the better cam profiles. The KA is always worth it...I love those engines, fun to build on either platform.

depends what you want to do...with a few mods and a turbo they both will produce numbers that aren't too far apart...but if you are looking to keep it N/A and know what you're doing (saves you a lot of money on this swap) then I'd say go with the DE. Just make sure to rebuild the engine.

what i was asking is will i need a new ecu or can i keep my old one and what about wiring are there any major differences?
