2001 Cherokee, 46,000 mi., Auto.
Check engine light (MIL) came on the other day. Gas cap was checked and is on filler neck correctly. Need help to get trouble code(s) from PCM. I did the off-on times 3 and times 5 and got nothing on the digital odometer. Did the press tripmeter while turning key to On, got the 0000000 , 1111111, etc. with the gauge and light diagnostics but that's it. No codes after the 9999999 or the word done. I must not be doing something right to retrieve code. Please advise or redirect me to a website. Don't want to buy OBDM2 unless no choice.
