I went to go look at a 99 LS today, and Im considering buying it.
The price is $9250. The only problem, is that there is large scratch on the passenger side. It was like that when he bought the car, so hes not sure if its a key scratch, or if it was from a bush or parking lot or something like that. The scratch is about 6 inches on the front fender, the whole door, and about a foot and half or two feet on the rear quarter panel. Do you have any idea how much this would cost to fix? Its not terribly deep, but I dont think it can be buffed out. Basically, it comes down to whether or not I can talk the guy down to where it would be worth it to get the scratch fixed. Other than the scratch, the car is pretty much perfect, there are few little paint chips here and there, and one of the plastic peices on the interior has a crack in it, but nothing else. What would you say the car is worth, and what would you do in my situation?

Yeah, Im not stupid, I already checked on there first...but they dont always give you the most accurate prices. I figured Id ask around people who are familiar with buying cars like this, since they probably know the going rate of a 99 LS better than whoever produces that website.
