Well, sounds like you need to give her a little TLC. If you're smelling gas, you either have a broken breather hose coming from the gas tank to the charcoal filter in the engine compartment, or a hole in your gas tank. To kill 2 birds with 1 stone, if your breather hose from the tank is broken, it will cause a vacuum leak, which would cause high idle, rough idle, stalling, poor gas mileage, all kinds of things. Also have your TPS checked, run some fuel injection cleaner through it, spray brake cleaner through the intake with the filter off to clean it out. If your temp is going up, and no heat, you have VERY low coolant, and by now, have probably blown a headgasket, or maybe even cracked or warped the head. Try filling the radiator back up, and making sure there's no air bubbles in the cooling system by running the car with the radiator cap off until it is up to temp, and keep filling it. If fluid shoots out of the radiator, or if you see a lot of bubbles, you have a blown headgasket. If the car doesn't want to start, it's probably flooded. The fuel injection cleaner, and spraying brake cleaner into the intake to clean it out should fix that. Give those a shot, and let us know how it turns out.
