Just bought an Vigor

And the brake lamp indicator on the dash won't shut off after tapping the brake pedal. All the bubls/sockets are working for the brakes? I also noticed when I turn on the head lights the brake lamp indicator goes on? Anyone have an owners manual or shop manual they could look in for me?

The rear tail lights light-up in a dimmer seting when you turn the headlights/marker lights on. First turn the lights on and see if all of them are working in the marker light seting. Then have a friend step on the brake petal all the the rear lights should be BRIGHT and the high mount stop light in the middle of the rear window should also light-up!! if any do not replace teh bulb and you are good to go!!

I have the same problem with the 92Vig' I just bought. What we are thinking is that it might be the sensor... We will check it out sometime later on and if it is, Ill post a write up on how to do it!
