I guess a very good chance? Cause i raced some dude that has i/h/e and i lost to him by a bumper. I was surprised though by how much i lost to him. I thought he was gonna kill me but.....no?

Hmmm...you'll prolly do OK..if he has big fat rims they will slow him down...
I would not race him right away...anyone should understand that you don't want to race the car the day after you get it. you could drop large pieces of motor or something in the street...I would back off for a few weeks until you get used to the car and know its behavior and you are confident the car will still get you home after the race.
Incidentally...the FIRST thing I would do is change the oil and check out the spark plugs in your car (and do a compression check if you have the tools to do that.) Spark plugs can tell a lot about how the car has been treated (maintained, abused) and also how do you know when the last time the oil was changed? and then you are gonna rev it to the redline in a race the day after you buy it with xxxx miles on the oil?? I wouldn't dare!!! I love my car too much!! My $0.02
