This is Revell 1:24 prepaint kit.
striped the blue paint by brake fluid. applied mixed cream yellow pearl
after gray->white->yellow primer.
removed molded front/side turn lights and washer nozzles on a hood.

wow, nice work there! can't wait to see more of it! What colour will it be? EDIT: oops didnt realise that it was going yellow. i are so dumb :loser:

can i just ask how you spray the bottom of the sideskirts and bumpers? i have big difficulties angling my spraycan to spray the bottom. do you lift up the model and then spray it or what do you do?

Looks great! How did you remove the glass? My kit the glass is glued in pretty tight, haven't had the guts to try to remove it.

Mine will be painted white w/BMW corner flag graphics, to depict the very last M Coupe built. It's on display at the BMW Zentrum museum.

I'm using airbrush, make narrow the nozzle and down air pressure when paint small duct or complicated shape like this models's front bumper.
Thanks. :wink:

I used drawing knife and then by force! :cwm27: it's worked...
I want to see "white w/BMW corner flag graphics". do you have any pics?

Thanks, I'll give that a try. Perhaps use the freezer first. The glue is right up to the edge of the glass at the top of the windshield, and that area of the body needs some smoothing, in the area of the trim strip.

Here is the final M Coupe as displayed at the BMW Zentrum museum near Spartanburg, SC. It's a cool museum and they have a factory tour to see the Z4 and the X5 assembly. On either side of the white M Coupe are the final Z3 and the final M Roadster built. Notice that the three cars are the colors of the US flag, red, white, and blue.

kunta: I think you should that white with flag graphics, or paint it Imola red, that is, if you don't have an idea for paint yet.

This is going to be cool :smokin: This is one of those cars that treads the fine line between having dramatic styling and being ugly. I'll be looking forward to seeing this finished!

Drumcat: you seriously need to reduce the filesize of your signature image..it's 127K! :eek7: I don't know how you can make such a small image that big. You can make it a jpg with the same quality for about 12k

I love that car. The coupe, to me, is more attractive than the roadster. I've never seen that kit before, prepainted Revell, you say?
