My first race!

I don't have a (fast) car yet, so this is about my brother's Sr20 240sx. We were heading back from a Circuit City parking lot where some sweet cars gather every Saturday night, when a Mirage with (as far as I can tell) only an exhaust pulled along-side us and revved. I gave him the nod, and we went from about 40. By 80, it was all over. A bland story, I know, especially considering that I wasn't even driving, but it was my first participation in a race, so I'm pumped. It was such a rush! When I finally I get a CRX, I'll post my own kills.

A little more detail about the 240sx. S13, S14, boost, hp. etc. :dunno:

Oh and youll prolly get people saying "WTF IS THIS DOING IN THE HONDA KILLS SECTION!?!?!"
I dunno prolly not since they only seem to do that to non-import kills.

The 240 has an S13 redtop SR20DET with the stock turbo, HKS Dragger II exhaust, K&N air filter, OBX short shifter, couple of GReddy gauges, and an aftermarket radiator (not sure about the brand).
And as far as I can tell, posts about any kind of car are welcome in the street racing forum:

Haha, I'm not exactly a youngin; I'll be 20 in six months, and I just finished my first semester of college. The car situation is the only weird part. I don't have a car up at school, but when I come home from school, I just drive whatever's available, usually a '91 Buick Park Avenue or my mom's old van. I have the money for a car (about $2500), so as soon as I find a CRX that's in good shape, I'll get it. Those things are pretty rare around here, though, so it may take awhile. After I sell the Buick and work construction again this summer, I'll do suspension, then tires, then swap in a b16, etc. I've got it all planned out; I just have to find a decent car. A Buick and a van aren't exactly the best platforms for mods.
