03 Maxima Upgrades

What upgrades for performance, should i buy first for my 03 maxima? I know it is general but i would like to know what most people would buy.

Intake, exhaust, y-pipe, UPD, springs/shocks, FSTB, RSW

Thats what i was thinking, those must be the most popular.

if you're gonna get a ypipe, might as well get the hotshot headers, they include a y pipe. 18 fwhp gains, that's my next venture if i could only find a place with a soundclip to make sure it's not too obnoxious with a cat-back. an intake is the first thing you should buy. the car sounds sick at 4K rpm and it gives it a little more pep.

doesn't y-pipe give about 18whp as well? for half of the price. Plus people say that stillen header do not more than nothing.

stillen is shitty and makes false claims, but hotshot is supposed to be definite gains. you can get 18 whp from a 4th gen y pipe, but you're at around 8-12 on a 5th gen+.
the reason for such drastic gain on a 4th gen is that there are two precats on the y pipe that are removed when an aftermarket y is installed. this frees up the exhaust a lot. on the 5th gens these precats are on the headers not the y pipe. the new headers are lighter and mch more free flowing. ym only worry is the noise factor. my 4th gen with y pipe&cat-back was really really loud, from what yskevse on the ORG says they sound good with an exhaust system but i wanna hear it for myself before i spend 600-something dollars.

Frankencar exhaust doesn't sound that loud, that's what I'm gonna go with. Headers, man, too many debates still going on, I would prefer to see some numbers instead of sound actually. especially for that price. btw, some mat, if y-pipe gives you 12 whp, headers give about 18, right?

$600 for 18
