The guy who posted the video is taking a lot of shit on the SRT forums. Some are busting his balls that the SRT-4 had to have been heavily modded, that the Corvette wasn't going 100%, and a bunch of other things. This is his reply...
"Everyone in the videos is a friend of mine. The lightning is a old school one as you can clearly see, not the new SC ones. And yes, its a 6 speed C5..I don't know the exact mods on the SRT4, I'll let kenny get on here and post whats that dude has. Also, the vette pulled the SRT4 a little which is hard to see in the video. And yes, the Tiburon (behind the Vette) is NA."

I was not the one to post the video on the forum or claim a kill or anything. Then several questions came about with what is done to each car, ect...So I replied with that above that you quoted me. That's all man. I wasn't trying to make you look bad. I was just trying to give the story a little credibility because I own an '04 SRT-4 myself and I thought even a lightly modded SRT-4 keeping up with a C5 was cool.

not to call bs or anything...but are you guys sure that is a tiburon folowing...to me that rear lamps seem from a cougar
before you call me biased i know only a modded one would dream of keeping up
i could not post a direct pic from the video since i have misplaced my photoshop cd...but everytime i look at the vid the taillights seem from a cougar

Neutrino i just paused the video and compared that to your pics side by and side, and that is definitly a tiburon. if you look carefully, even the back up lights are in the lower inner corner. when the cougar's back up light is right underneth and is a semi circle and is a part of the brake lights. when on the tib. its a separate circle.

Here's a post on the SRT forums by the guy who filmed the race...
"in the C5 v. SRT video the C5 (6 speed in case that hasn't been cleared yet) has a B&M shifter, otherwise stock v. the SRT which has stage 1, a K&N cone filter in the stock location and the dollar spring mod. The driver of the SRT was blackSRT4u, Dennis from Ft. Walton beach. NO, the tib is not turbo, at the point and time of the video he had an intake and somethind done to the exhaust I'm pretty sure. It's one of the quicker N/A tibs in the country if he isn't lying, I don't stay up on the tib info.
I was actually the drunkass riding bitch filming this particular video (thanks for letting me ride Kevin!) Most of the SRT v. ? videos on his site are me. My car is the solar yellow w/ the aftermarket wheels while Dennis' is the black stock appearing one. Hope this has cleared things up. Enjoy!"
