SEGA Super GT

That game rocks. Anyone else played it?

yep.. i havent played my dreamcast much after i got my ps2, but that was one of the few games i played all the time

That's SEGA GT (great game too). BUt I'm talking about Super GT the arcade game. :D Also from SEGA. ;)

I like using the cat, or the toy rocket car in the game. I believe you can select them along with a tank and a bus by first selecting the beginner's oval track (in a playhouse?), then holding one of the few buttons (probably one of the 'view' buttons, but I'm not sure) when you choose the Porsche, McLaren, or others. The cat has superb grip and I can actually get first place, unlike with the regular cars. The toy rocket car is THE fastest car in the game, but only because you have some sort of nitrous boost when you hit START button while racing (these run out). Hey, it even wheelstands. The toy tank is quite slow, but can fire little pellets at other drivers, once again with the START button. I never use the bus so I can't tell you anything about it.

The regular gameplay (with GT cars and hard tracks) is another good, fast-paced, slightly-unrealistic racer. Realism thrills me, so I play Ferrari F355 Challenge (also by SEGA).
