Greetings all,
Hey, has anyone ever swapped the factory digital instrumentation into a 91-92 Caprice? I'd like to think it's a plug in but I imagine it's not that simple.
Comments? Thanks.

You can swap a 91, 92, or a 93 9C1 digital instrument cluster directly to any 91,92 or 93 Caprice Classic. It is a plug and play swap. FYI 9C1 is a police package Caprice. So check out your local junkyards for an old police car. Good Luck And if you find an extra one, let me know.

Can anyone give me some tips on how to fix my digital display on my dash? All of my lights including the speedometer are "off", at first I thought it was a fuse, but all the fuses seem fine. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks!

If cleaning the contacts does not work, last resort would be to resolder the entire board....
It's a pain in the a**, but that's what I had to do to get mine working again.

When you swap out the cluster to electric, does it show the actual miles on your car, or what was on the cluster from the car before?

I cleaned to contacts today, and the dash now works OK, the turn signal indicators are not fully green, they are a little transparent, also the dash does not dim... is there a correction to this..
ALSO. I am thinking about sending it to be repaired to a place in canada, how do i remove the drive selector without stretching the wire

There is a clip that holds the wire onto the steering column... most likely on the underside of it.
Remove the lower dash panel to see it.
Just push it off with a flat head screwdriver....
