Hey guys, new to the forum and i was just wondering if anyone here had any photos of the Gibson Motorsport Winfield GT-Rs from the 1992 Tooheys 1000 at Bathurst. Would greatly appreciate if you could either send them to me by e-mail, post them here (if possible), or have links to sites that contain pictures.
Thanks Again,
Fitzy

Hi Fitzy,
Don't have any pictures, but I must say that was a great event...
If I remember correctly...Jim Richards called the crowd "A pack of assholes" over the PA when he won, after their precious Group A V8's got beat by an import.
Classic.

I agree it was a great event, but it wasnt the fact that the skyline beat the group A commodores, but the fact that Dick Johnson's little box of a Sierra was leading when the red flag was put out, but only came second coz the race technically ended the lap before when Richards/Skaife were leading.
PS - Still looking for photos of the Winfield R32. Any help would be appreciated.

In a private collection in Sydney now.
Sat in it about 3-4 months ago when it just happened to be in the garage that I went to when my car broke down.
