Feeling Sorry for You Guys

Since I've been home, I've been re-introduced to the world of television, and as such, I've noticed all the commercials encouraging you guys to buy your woman fine jewelry. "You'll give her a dream house someday, but for now, buy her the stars". I feel really sorry for the intense pressure that is being put on you guys this season to buy your woman the finest and most expensive items of jewlery on the unmentioned grounds that "A woman will only love you if you do". :( I know having my guy make me French Toast in the morning would bring the brightest smile to my face, I don't care for the finest in diamonds or gems.
So guys, I sincerely apologize to you all for such pressures. I know that a real woman will love you no matter what you tuck underneath the tree this season. I hope you can share it with someone who loves you no matter the material goods you can offer her. :)

My girlfriend likes it when I buy her flowers. I don't even watch those channels that are trying to sell you all that stuff. She's happy with just flowers, so I'll get her that. Eventually I think I'm gonna have to become more creative and think of something different. :D

I sure hope not. I still need a car, I don't need to be paying for kids.

Lets just say that both my fiance and I have good taste in gemstones. Which means it costs big bucks when I do buy jewlery. You should see the stone on her engagement ring. Hearts on Fire (for those of you who might know what that is). You have to do a shit load of research before making a purchase. Jewlers are more devous then used car salesmen.

Thanks for that. Seems like you certainly understand why some, like me, are oh-so-happy to choose being single, and retain just that much more of their sanity in the process.

I think thats an excellent thing. Diamonds can be a good investment if you know how to buy them and get high quality stones. Since hes a jewler, you should tap him on what to look for and what to pay. Its a myth that diamonds lose value - only cheap and overpayed diamonds do.
