I own a '03 lancer OZ and am interested into upgrading the rear drum brakes to disc brakes. What modifications (other than the rotors) would need to be made?

what you need to find is a set of rear disc breaks that came from another body(lancer). if you're lucky, you'll find a set that will fit you car.... it must be a complete set.. from the disc ,to the rotors, some suspension upto the handbrake cable....
gud luck!

I think you need to find the one with the whole trailing arm, hub and disc (rotor) from the donor car which normally includes the hand brake cable also.

I've got an '03 Lancer OZ...none of the stock lancers that I know of come with rear disks except for the EVO.
Anyone know if cannibalizing the rear setup off of an EVO would work for a conversion?

I'm gonna say not worth the time and money. But since the EVO is an all-wheel and your OZ is not, also they have different sub-frames, its not gonna work for ya. You would be replacing lines and the frames etc... Search around the internet, see if you can find anyone who has done it. Its probably gonna be a lot of work or you may find a conversion kit for it.
Try Mitsubishi-forums.com theres a lot more activity over there.....
