What speed is your internet connection ?.

I'm sure that there are many people still using that museum technology known as dial-up, but after moving to broadband I just couldn't go back to a 56k connection.

At the moment I have a 600k broadband connection from UK telecommunications company ntl ( who are an American company operating here in the UK ). Last month I downgraded to the service I'm on now from a 1MB connection I had been using for several months. I also take digital cable TV from the same company, as well as my telephone line.

Over here in the UK, NTL offer 3 broadband services - a 150k service costing £17.99 per month ... a 600k service costing £24.99 per month, and the 1MB service which costs £34.99 a month.

http://www.ntl.com/index.html

What speed internet connection do you have at home, and which company supplies the connection ... how much does it cost ?.

some shitty connection at work that gets bogged down easily, boss said it wasn't quite T1 so I don't know what other connection could connect 140 people and still work in the same office to go on the internet. @ home I am running cox digital cable, $35 a month and they just doubled the speed so I can download around half a meg a sec.

Whoooops!

That would be Kbit. :grinno:

Yeah, I don't have an OC3 at my house. That would be one hell of pipe to cram with data!
