Hey i was wondering if they made ground effects kits for the 1993 MR2 or not. If they do then what web page can i find them? Thanx people!:flash:

Go to www.groundeffects.com or www.mr2.com . The owner of mr2.com has a veilside bodykit w/ nonpopup lights, which you can buy from them, I think they're still available. mr2.com has pics of over 20 different makers of kits for the mr-2.

hope to have something new by the end of the summer.....i think ive narrowed it down...

Hey this place has a pretty cheap one that looks nice (well atleast thats what i think). www.buybodykits.com.. you can also check out http://www.veilside.com but that kit is extremely expensive :)

If you want the biggest and be choice in body kits go to www.takakaira.com They're all JDM kits so they're pretty expensive, but they're way better quality and looking than most of the crappy ricer kits you can find in the US. They also have TONS of upgrade parts and whatnot too. If you're gonna do it...do it right.:D

I think all motor but i'm not sure. He posted a list of all mods he had done on another mr2 forum, try them.

Yeah its all motor and it wasn't easy to find parts for it. it would have been alot cheaper or i would have had alot more horsepower if i had went with a turbo but it seems like everyone supe's up mr2 turbos. And when they do fix up the n/a the first thing they do is put it on the bottle. i just wanted something differant.

i heard that this is the same motor as in the camry's. is that right? and which years?

my friend is looking for a fast car but he wants a four door. and he was thinking of a camry with a 3SGTE mr2 motor. but we werent for sure if it was the same motor as the n/a mr2. if its the same motor we have already done a 3SGTE swap in a 93 N/A MR2 so it should be fairly the same.

does anybody know? thanx.

go to www.groundeffects.com and click on ground effects. It lists all makes of cars so just find whatever car you're looking for.

a lot of mr2 guys go to min at www.mbautosport.com or the guy (can't remember his name - henry?) that runs www.importtrenz.com.. they sell replica kits. they're also pretty up front about what fits well and what doesn't.

takakaira has all authentic body kits... there are a couple of guys stateside that bought the border kit. like efini said, it's expensive, but the quality and fitment are second to none.

11secmr2, are you saying you don't know what engine is in your car? maybe i misunderstand your post. the US n/a's came with the 5SFE which is also found in the camry of same years. how are you getting 376hp out of that engine? and are you over on the mr2 board (www.board.mr2faq.com)? i'm sure a lot of people would be interested in your mods.

the us mr2 N/A has the 2.2l 5sfe. So does the camry. I know that one person on the mr2 owners board has a friend with a 3sgte swapped into his car. It's pretty fast for a camry. As for body kits, I agree with bluetwo. min and henry are both really reputable.

no i know what kind of engine i have in my car. i just wasn't sure what year the same engine was in the camrys. I know what engine I have.

there are slight differences between the camry engine and the mr2 engine such as placement and exhaust headers and locations of various other parts but the block and the head are identical.

Now that was the weirdest little side thing i have ever seen. **On Hondahotties thing** And i dont think that was a good mental picture to keep in my head. Who is in the picture?!?!
