What a waste. I know we've all been pissed off for idiotic reasons before, usually centering around one of the following: women, money, thinking we know more than some other guy thinks he knows.

I'm sure this probably boiled down to a case of ego on the part of the Mustang driver. Simple, idiotic, illogical male ego.

It's never an excuse to kill over, or even place someone else in true harm's way. It's one thing to punch some guy in the bar because he cracks wise about your girlfriend, but another thing to stab him forty-seven times with a pool cue.

I know that isn't the specifics of the case, but I'm willing to bet it's another case of over-inflated machismo of just the same manner.

He claims to have watched a highway video of the accident.
If they were, in fact traveling at 110mph + then there is no way that one stationary camera could have covered that much distance.

.... I'd guestimate a camera may view at most a 1/4 mile or so... which would have been about 8 seconds of footage at that speed. Hardly enough time to cover all the details he gave ... unless there was multiple cameras.

I hate to be a skeptic, but there is no way this type of accident, caught on video, wouldn't have made national news.

I don't know which stories in there are true or false, but enough people mentioned relatives of theirs dieing in street racing to hopefully give pause to others before they start racing.

I think one thing we are over looking is road rage. This is a prime example of how a simple case of road rage can get someone killed. I lost a friend due to raod rage about 1 yr ago. He got cut off by some guys in a truck and they started to give each other the finger etc and then they stopped at a gas station almost across the street from my moms house and the guy in the truck walked up to the driver's door and shot my friend in the head. He died before the paramedics could get there. He was only 21yrs old. So think about what you are doing while on the roads because you never know how the other person could react.

i am also alittle iffy on this. i'm not sure if this was true or not becusae this is definitly national news material and would've been on the headlines for such a small town. but its not. i mean i'm not goin to be mean and shit but if that really was true. then may god have mercy on his family, but if its falso then he is a pretty sick individual who definitly needs help. this so far is the widest spread forum link. i mean people are coming over from every where.

I'm really not sure what to believe here anymore.
On the one hand, it sure makes us think before we go out on the street and who we got up against off the line. On the other hand, if this person is just making it up just to get some reaction from people, then that person is one sick indivdiual.

(But on a sidenote, the evidence is piling up against this guy)

Well last info I got was they knew who he was but could not find him :( . I know some of my friends went looking for him, but I am glad they did not find him because they could have gotten shot too or landed themsleves in jail for murder. The gas station camera did not catch it, but the clerk working there got a good discription of the truck and the tag number.

I know of two guys who were racing in their Trans Am's they went round a corner and lost control. They both spun out and wrecked their cars. The cars were two unstable in the corner and one just lost it. Kinda along the same lines.
