i was changing the timing belt on my jdm b16a1 and i was told and read that you put the usdm dohc delsol belt on it, but that did not fit it was too small! so i need to know what belt will fit on there any help would be greatly apprectioated

Are you sure you don't have the sohc del sol belt? Did you buy the belt from the dealer? If so what is the part number for the belt you bought?
When I changed the belt on my b16a I used the dohc del sol belt and it fit. It took a little while to get the cam gears lined up correctly but after that the belt went on with no problems.

..how 'small' is it? like just barely too small or really too small...if its just barely... maybe you just dont have the tensioner loosened enough?
