MURDER/street racing?

I found this on my local area forum... how terrible, I can't even imagine how this guy must feel. READ THE WHOLE STORY BEFORE YOU JUDGE!

Yikes. When I saw your thread title, I was thinking it was gonna be something different, but this really isnt too much better. Is it murder if you flee the scene? I feel bad for that guy.

yeah I know... I can't imagine what would drive someone to do a thing like that

i read the entire thread. uhm, all i can say is wow. it brings light to a different perspective. my heartfelt condolances truly go out to him.

That is truely a very horrible situation to be in. The guy had to watch a video of his brothers last moments and then his death. Tha has to be soo hard to do. I think he is one hell of a good guy and brother to not do anything harsgh and let the cops handle it. I know it had to be tha hardest thing in the world for him to do though. I cannot imagine being in his position.
Hopefully we can learn from this and drive a little safer and try not to provoke road rage (not saying that the guy there did) you never know when that could happen to you.

I don't know if anyone has taken the time to read through the posts in the link I listed but also his mother and father are dead so it sounds like it is just him left now... I highly respect his abillity to not storm into the guys house and beat the living hell out of him... instead he waited outside and just called the cops... I could not have handled it that well I would have let my bad temper get the best of me.

Yea I read the whole post, he has family there though, well in a way. It is good to see so many people come together and try to help as best as they can.

That sucks reminds me when i was being chased by a camaro. That guy kept reving his engine at every freaking stop light. I never took the challenge because I was in stock civic. So the guy decided it was funny to be tailgating me for 5 miles. WTF is wrong these people?

believe it or not something simillar happened like less than a mile from my house. apparently a guy was driving a truck heading west on an interstate when a couple that was trying to move cut him off or something. the guy in the truck chased them and rammed them in the side once but the driver was able to get his car (a subaru suv if i remember correctly) back under control. the second time the truck rammed them he sent them through the median where they went head on with a semi. the semi tore pretty much the whole drivers side off of the subaru and killed the driver instantly. the guy in the semi stopped and tried to go help but the guy in the truck had also stopped and had gotten out a pocket knife. he tried to chase the semi driver when he went to offer help then when the state police arrived on the scene he slit his own throat with the knife and died. the police found out later that he had just left parents house after killing both of them with the same knife. this was over the summer.

I guess it goes to show you there are some very demented people in this world and you had better be careful what you do because you never know who you are dealing with

Yeah, people can be stupid man. I very well remember riding around with a buddy of mine in his MarkIII Supra (fairly worked over car for stock block, heads, and at the time stock turbo.....well, stock heads with the exception of some N/A (non- Turbo) MkIII cams ...as of that time about 290hp and 350lb ft/tq at the wheels.

We were out just cruising around and all of a sudden we see an early to mid ninties Z-28 and a Fox body Mustang GT (87-93) getting ready to throw down at a light. He had just added the N/A cams and was feeling like giving someone a run.

The intersection has three lanes so he quickly pulls up into the far right lane. As soon as he drew even with the other two cars and stopped the light went green and he just laid down on it.

I can only assume that either those two cars were pretty stock or the drivers were just average because he just smoked both of them and let off at about 100mph (We were in a 55). I am fussing the whole way because I am a bit older, have seen what bruised egos can lead too, and understand that things like this are better done at the strip....he is a really good guy though, just young with a lot to learn yet.

Next thing I know both cars are coming after us with people hanging out the windows telling us to pull over so they can kick our a--. Two of us to at least four of them are not my kinda odds, and fighting in an instance like that is stupid anyway.

We are back at relatively normal speeds so he mentions that his car is obviously faster than theirs and punches it. We eventually got off on a little out of the way exit and he lost them. But man, those guys weren't kidding. Honest to God I think they would have shot at us if they had a gun....assuming they didn't.

When crap like this starts over a car, man, it is just a friggin hunk of steel. Someday it is gonna be oxide dust again and nobody will remember it. Keep the ego's in check and get some anger management if you can't. Ain't nothing about a car worth somebody dieing...period.

i'd be in jail....seriously....but that just sux big time

it seems like alot of people think it was fake towards the end of that thread. i don't know what to think. i feel bad for the kid but if he is lying people are going to get mad at him.

I agree... since last night I have started to think it could be fake as well. But I don't think I can go on there and call BS on something like that without knowing for a fact...

yeah i know what you mean. i could never go on there saying the whole thing is a lie, because there is always the possiblity that it is true.there is no way to really tell.

at least its good to see people supporting others. i mean if its fake, its a huge deception, but its good to see a bunch of people comign together to support a cause. you know?

Agreed. It doesn't seem right. He might be doing it for attention. If I was in his situation, I would be the one knocking on the owner of the mustangs door with a shotgun. Not talking about it on the internet. :screwy:

Kid needs prayers, one way or another. If it's fake, he needs Jesus to help get his life together. If it's real, he needs Him to keep his life together.

Well, I didn't take the time to read all 17 pages, but I know that if something like that were to happen to me -God forbid- it would take every single ounce of self restraint to keep from finding that guy and destroying him piece by piece. It would be back to jail for me.

As for the validity of the story, I dont really know. I've heard of things like this happening before, but there was no internet posting about it. But this kid may just use internet message boards to create some self restraint since it seems he has no one left. But hey,whatever the case, the story makes you think.

Well, I wasn't sure what to think of it at first, so I read all 21 pages to better figure it out. After reading all friggin 21 pages, I decided to read some of his other threads and posts. All seemed to be some serious tragic accidents or drama. Somewhere after like page 18 someone posted one of his "other stories." All of his posts where stories full of drama, and he hasn't posted there since being called out. You can put 2 and 2 toghter and figure out what most likely really transpired there. A girl from Chicago's uncle is a Penn State Trooper, he checked the recrods for her, nothing of the sort transpired in the state of penn, ehich is where he claimed it occured. It probably took a while for people to call him out, because that's not just something you make up, and they didn't want to seem rude (which they all initially were). Then again, looking at a lot of his other posts, they all seem to be stuff you just don't make up, so I don't know what he's thinking. I don't know why some people feel the need to make up dramatic stories and tell them, but your right. A person like that definatly needs help and god in his life. That's just messed up.

Everything sounds wrong about that story. There would have to be a helicopter camera to catch all of the footage that he said he viewed from what a highway camera caught. If the cars were both doing well over a hundred then it would only catch a couple of seconds at the most, let alone his brother's car getting bumped like three times while he was trying to get away. That scene would have to be at least 10-15 minutes.

and it just so happens as soon as someone talks about his family something devastating happened to both of his parents...if it was me i wouldn't have brought up my parents....(just my point of view)
