Does anyone know the trick to getting to the two bolts on the upper side of the bell housing (transmission)?

My dad says we need a crow's foot, but I'm sure there's an easier way.
This is the only thing holding the engine in right now, and we are afraid we are going to round off the bolt if we fool with it too much more.
