rear speaker covers..

i need to figure out how to remove my rear speakers and speaker grille/covers...i cant do it i have tried lots of different ways. would appreciate it if anyone who has taken them off could tell me how. (2000 grand am se 4door) thanks.

If I remember correctly, you will have to remove the rear seat (both pieces)remove the retainers and slide the package tray out...this will uncover the speakers
