Turn signal problem

I have an 86 s10 4.3 and my turnsignals are not working at all my 4 ways work but iv got nothing for turnsignals nothing in lights nothing in the dash if anybody can help me out on what might be the problem email me at [email protected]

I'd try a few things, check the fuse "TURN/BU" if that's good, replace the trun flasher. Otherwise your problem could be in the Turn/hazard switch. I don't see it being a chaffed wire.

I've got the exact same problem as Viperlord2001, except my vehicle is a 96 S10. Went looking for the flasher unit/relay but can't locate it.

My truck is 10 years newer than yours. However in my truck, it's directly below the radio package. Gotta take down the driver's side pedal covers and the the panel above that (takes a #30 Torx tip). I also loosened the passenger side heater box cover as it will hold the middle panel from coming down enough to access the flasher units. After you drop the middle panel down a little, you'll see the two silver canisters relays. In my truck, the turn signal relay was the canister located on the right hand side. It'll pull straight out (with a little wiggling) and the replacement goes in similarly.
