Lap Belt doesn't work with mx3 seats

I just installed some nice mx-3 seats from a 1994 mx-3 just down the road from my house but when I installed them and went to use the lap belt i noticed that the lap belt wouldn't plug into the lap buckle on the mx-3 seats. I have been reading all post on mx-3 seats for the last couple of weeks and have not heard anywhere about this problem, can someone please help me out, ASAP!!

yeah, dont use your lap belt.

esay rember if your still using the origanal seat belt you have to keep the origanal seat buckel just unscrew it from the origanal seats then replace the one on the mx3 seats i had to do the same thing with my seats its easy don't worry
