Performance Suggestions

I drive a 1990 Dakota 3.9V6 X-Cab.

I want to make it decently quick, keeping the V6. Does anybody know about aftermarket for the motor? Possibly a turbocharger, or a supercharger?

A super or turbocharger are going to be hard to come by for a pre-Magnum 3.9L. But you can get intake, exhaust, roller rockers, should be able to find headers. Things like that which won't kill your budget but still give you decent power.

Somebody offered me a 440ci engine, for 550 bucks. I sat there looking from my truck to the motor and back again, I told him I would let him know in a few days. Is it worth the new transmission, rear end suspension, differential, and rubber?

Thats up for you to decide. You will have to go to www.engine-swaps.com and get custom mounts. It will make your truck very quick though since it is relatively light. Really it's something you have to decide.
