Engineering Exam myth?

Well, Ive heard this story from a variety of sources, all claiming they heard it about a different school, with varying details.
The just of the story is, an engineering student is writing an exam. Half way through it, he jumps up (sometimes, he gets on a desk, or takes off various amounts of clothing), yells, "I am an orange! (or other fruit). Oranges do not write exams!" (then he might remove clothes). Then, he runs out.
I like this story, its funny, and a good indication of how stressful exams are (writing them now, and Im definately a bit wacked).
Basically, I was wondering who else has heard this story, and where they heard it took place. I heard it took place at Western University (southern Ontario).
And of course, different variations.
And does anyone know if this is based on a true story, and if so, where and when it occured?
Well im off....4 hours till my last, most difficult exam....but I dont think Im an orange quite yet....maybe a blind chimp on crack, but, not an orange.

No, but with the amounts of drugs (mostly speed) that some of my mates do before exams, I'm not surprised.

Real street drugs are not good to do before exams.
Id say the only 2 drugs that could be used as study aids are ritalin (eaten mostly, bumped if one needs to be really awake quickly), and dexadrine. But dex is a bit harder, and will make you feel a bit fucked up. But, you will be able to study for a long time.

A friend of mine (close friend) once told me how she stood up in an exam she couldn't do and said, very matter of factly, "I cant do it, I just can't fucking do it" then walked out.

Never heard the story but I can completely understand why someone would do that. My first year of engineering we were told by the professors they were trying to fail as many people as possible to weed out everyone who didn't belong. Half the class dropped out after the first semester and another quarter failed.

Can't say I've ever heard that one before. Probably just another urban myth (small one at that)

Never heard that one...
My friend Jim dropped acid one time before taking an exam in high-school, and halfway through the test (which was one of those scan-tron tests where you fill in the circles with a pencil) he thought all the "dots" that he'd made on the test ran off the paper, so he went chasing them around... He ended up getting arrested after chucking a desk across the room. Which wouldn't have been bad, except that there was someone sitting in the desk at the time (it was one of those chair/desk combinations).
