i have a 87 samurai and the thing is i put a used motor in it it runs fine but it smokes i had new valve seals put in and had the compresson checkes and they said it was allmost as good as when it was new its funny it sometimes dont smoke at all and other times its bad could a fuel pump be mexing oil with fuel email me anyone that can help caveman7189@yahoo.com thanks

Don't trust your mechanic. He's obviuosly lying to you about something. Smoke is caused by a number of things. Worn rings, blown headgasket, worn valves or valve seals.... All of which would lead to low compression. Maybe he didn't check ALL cylinders??? I'd double check his work. Cheers!

yes afuel pump on a zuk will do that.
