I have a v6 frontier 4/4 and it died yesterday, i had it towed to my house and i went thru and found that it has plenty of spark(s) but no fuel coming to the fuel rail(HP hose).
I traced back to the filter and also no fuel coming out of it with ignition on, i am at a loss finding the fuel pump. i am guessing that the fuel pump died, i read on a nissan off road site that someone had a similar problem but was replacing the sending unit in the tank, i am assuming that he is replacing the fuel level sending unit in the tank! how could the sending unit cause a no fuel problem, (other than if there is no fuel in the tank) Is the fuel pump located in the tank itself?. Is it complicated to replace the fuel pump? The fuse for the fuel pump is good,
Thanks in advance for any info!

Well it turns out that this is just a VERY POOR QUALITY TRUCK,(Frontier sucks)
The fuel pump and fuel sender unit both burned out,($700) (Out of the blue) i was driving down the road when this happenned! I will be looking for a TOYOTA as soon as i can,This truck was never offroaded) SO far i had to spend $800 on a left intake manifold, $600 on a right exshaust pipe (broke off right before the catalyst, both of the electric windows track broke off ($700),+ the $700 on the fuel pump mess) multiple issues with electronics on the truck (SE V6 4/4) Paid $24,000 for the pile of scrap!
Again good luck to any Frontier owner out there!
I will never own another NISSAN!
Long live The TACOMA!
