remove the air box silencer did it on my 95 3.4 and improved throtle response and gas mileage by about 1.5-2mpg

First thing you do is remove your air plenum, you will find it behind there. it is a big metal box, just take a dremel to it and saw it off of there.

you can do the free ram air mod that is one of the best.
