Idle RPMs

Hi everyone,
My 1997 Maxima SE Manual (all stock) all of a sudden started to idle at 1000 RPMs. Used to be 600-660 RPMs. Does anyone has an idea what could it be?

Stuck throttle cable, faulty coolant temperature sensor, malfunctioning IACV(idle air control valve), stuck fast idle cam, stuck cruise control cable or servo motor, bad TPS(throttle position sensor), ECU is gone, leaking air intake housing, foreign subjects in involved areas. Could be more I forgot to mention or don’t know. Did you get some trouble codes?

a lot of people come on here with the same problem problem and the most common fix is a new idle air control valve as boriss said or even a cleaning if possible. it's nice when knowledgable noobs come through here. what up boriss. i mean no offense to victor in any way, it's a valid question.
