I have not seen any of them. I watched a little of I think the second one and I have to say that it was just not my type of movie. Just my :2cents: though.

I am going to go see it, but I don't have a reason to rush. I'll wait till the crowds are down.

I just got back from seeing it. It kicked so much ass its unbelievable. The war scene in it was friggin awesome. The best part is, is that it stayed really close to the book.

Great movie, great series, great ending. I've really enjoyed the LOTR epic, despite the fact that I've always been more of a Sc-Fi fan, as opposed to the High Fantasy genre (wizards, dragons etc.) It ended the story quite nicely, and while it didn't have the same tear-inducing effect as The Last Samurai (for me at least) I was still very moved- actually, my girlfriend cried enough for both of us :) My overall opinion? DEFINATELY worth the wait in line, and the 3 1/2 hours of sitting in one spot. The only thing that would have made it better for me, is if I hadn't had to jet directly up to school from the movie to take an evening final :icon16:
GO SEE IT DAMMIT!! If you've followed the series in any way, you won't be disappointed. :p
