Removing Power-lock switch

Anyone know how to remove the power-lock switch on a 2000 Ford Ranger?

It looks like you can just pop the sucker out, but I want to be sure before I go and rip it out. I'm hoping I can do that and not have to rip the door apart.

you need to remove door pannel and there are spring clips behind the switch
