Lan Party in NE Ohio - The Promised Lan

For those of you that dont know what a lan party is, its a when a group of people go to a central place to play computer games for an amount of time for fun/prizes.

Every month The Promised lan holds a lan party at the First Christian Church in Malvern, Ohio.
15 dollars gets you in. 4 meals are provided(Pizza at 1-:00 the first night, English muffins in the morning, subs for lunch, and a good hot meal for dinner on saturday.) and there are snacks always layed out.(Nachos and Pretzels). Plenty of pop aswell. Runs from 7:00 Friday night till 9:00 Saturday Night. Its always great fun and were always looking for new faces. I wish I could attend! I live in Southwest Ohio; never played games on a PC though (other that the simple stuff at Yahoo games). Thanks for sharing! :)

Not that I live anywhere near Ohio, but how do you guys run it out there? Do you bring your own PC's or do you already have PCs networked up, and what kinda computer games you guys play?

I just realized this should be in the computers secton. If you dont play many computer games its still fun. We have xbox's and other consoles aswell.
Usually people will bring there pc's but there are some for rent for a small fee. We mainly play Desert Comabt, maybe an rts, racing games, Unreal tournament, bassicly whatever we feel like playing.

what other games do you guys get into... I'm in Akron and would like to get in on the action if there's a good game list. aim me with the info!

We used too have big lan parties like this back at home and play counter strike and stuff, they were a blast :D
