Most always when I stop I get at secondary "Bump". Have had the brakes and drivelines looked at, told they were fine. Still get the "bump"
Any ideas?

I had a bump noise on braking that I heard a second or two after the Jeep had actually stopped. It came from the rear of the vehicle. I was puzzled and could think of no explanation other than a loose baffle in the gas tank was clunking around. I was going to get the tank changed but the noise stopped on its own (for now at least). Perhaps the baffle got jammed so it's not moving around if that's the real explanation.
Anyway, if you have the same sound and timing too maybe it's something to consider. I'll be happy to hear other ideas.

if the bump is felt through out the truck and the truck trys to lurch or moves in any way it could be your tranny or tourque converter not working properly. check tranny fluid if it is really dark or smells burnt get to a tranny shop. hope this helps
