How do you fix the power loss between the flywheel and tires.

Horsepower Results - 1/4 Mile Method
Your Camaro weighs about 3450 pounds and can complete a 1/4 mile in about 9.6 seconds. That means that you've got about 770.71 HP at the wheels, and about 1001.93 HP at the flywheel.

Theirs a power loss of 231.22 hp here, just think if you could tap into that, one the the best ways I can think of has been done with top fuel dragsters, by putting the engine right over the rear wheels, and eliminating the drive line twist.

Eliminate all (or as much as you can) of the friction in the drive train, and get rid of as many gear sets you can. Elminating the twist works too, but changing the engine location just helps with traction and safety.

Try a lenco transmission.
