Hi all
I have recently run into chunk of change and im looking to put it into my 2001 2500 silverado ext cab 4x4 what do yall think is the best way to improve my truck. Ive already done the flowmaster exhaust and k&n filter. Ive been thinking about either headers, tool box, rhino liner, or maybe a performance chip of some type, im not really sure. Ive only got around 400-500 bucks so let me know what you think is the best way to spend it. thanks

i would go with the bed liner. but not rhino. ive heard that line x is better. i have not done either so i might not be the best to judge. but i think the liner would be where my money went.

That's a pretty wide-open question. What is the main use for the truck? If it has to haul stuff, I'd think the Line-x or tool box makes sense. If it's basically a street cruiser, cosmetic changes may be the ticket. If you want a bit more performance, Hypertech, headers, spacer, etc. I think it all comes down to how you intend to use your truck. Mike

I say billet grille or headers!

Another option for the bed liner is the new carpet liner. Supposedly pretty weather resistant and guaranteed. I don't think I would use it if the truck is for work.
Does the truck have the Duramax? If so, there are some chips you can add that will definitely increase the ride!
Audio/ Visual are pretty cool also.
